BAVMS
Accessible via a browser, the BAVirtual Management System is a hub for all of our operations. The dashboard contains all new announcements, events and NOTAMS for your attention. Its main function is a booking system. Here you can book any active BA flight number, generate your SimBrief OFP and prefile with VATSIM through the same application. You can also view all current staff and the live ACARS map showing all the members flying at that time.
Merlin ACARS
BAVirtual has its own custom-built ACARS system that meets our specific needs. This program allows you to track your flight so it can be filed as a PIREP onto your logbook. Simply load the flight you booked through BAVMS, eneter some flight details from your OFP, wait for it to verify you are flying the correct airframe and livery, then you are good to go. As soon as you push back it will track all your movements until you arrive at the arrival gate and power down.
Documents and manuals
We are proud to say that we have a vast wealth of documentation detailing how our virtual pilots should
operate both as a BAVirtual pilot, and how to operate their aircraft at BA destinations.
